What is MMA personal training?
If you are bored with everyday personal trainers and dull classes at your local gym, lose fat and get fit with MMA personal training and group fitness classes.
You are encouraged to define your goals and work towards them. No goal is too big or small.
Where will we train?
We take all of our sessions at No Quarter Boxing Gym in Alexandria, a short walk from Redfern train station at 100 Botany road.
What do I need to bring?
Be ready for a great workout! Wear regular gym gear. Shorts and a T-shirt are fine, and bring a towel too. And always have your water bottle to keep hydrated. If you have your own boxing gloves then bring them along, although gloves are supplied. Mainly, just bring yourself!
I'm not very fit – is this training going to be too hard for me?
No. Your workout will take you to your own personal limit, not over it. The nature of getting fit – and fitter – means applying as much energy into each exercise as you can at the time. Your training session will allow you to reach your goals while remaining free from injury or the fatigue of overtraining.
Maintaining your correct posture during all exercise, combined with a proper warm-up, cool down and fitness assessment, prevents unnecessary pulled muscles and guarantees that you are exercising safely.
Sam and Yves are both experienced fitness professionals, professional boxing coaches, and launched the first MMA personal training business in 2009. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and results.
